    Amazing. Why not keep people in their homes, use more money for loan modifications. I simply do not understand the logic. People who can remain in their homes are happier, healthier, more productive. It’s a fact. The stress of short sales is killing American families.

      It’s because there is a very high fail rate among loan mods. Distressed homeowners who miss payments and need relief are not the best bet for a bank to make on a continuing loans. Better to clear them out and focus on new loans that can be easily sold in the servicing market.

    If we arebsellingnhomes short sell them to the people that are currently in them short. That was what we were told the money was for. Haven’t there been enough lies it is tim to rebel against this and fix the problem
