Another excellent post! If perception is reality, and it is; then it is up to us, as an industry, to change (educate) our consumer’s perception. You guys are certainly doing your part and I, for one, will do mine.

As you so eloquently put it, numbers are just numbers unless you have proper perspective. With all the negativity in the news many in our industry have lost sight that homes are selling. It may not be selling at the pace we’re accustomed to from years past; nonetheless, homes are selling.
Here’s a number that will be shocking. Similar to your calculation there is a home selling every 8.64 seconds. That’s right…8.64 seconds. Will it be yours?
